36th Annual NLPOA Convention to be Held in Los Angeles May 27-30

The 36th Annual NLPOA Training Institute & Convention will be held May 27-30, 2009 at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.
Co-sponsored by the Chicano Correctional Workers Association (CCWA), this convention promises to be an exciting and informative event.
Classes planned for this year will cover a wide range of interesting topics including leadership development, child investigations, homeland security, computer forensics, drug cartels and gangs, corrections/probation and promotion preparations.
Pre-register before May 3rd and plan to stay at the Sheraton and the registration fee is $195.00 for members, $220.00 for non-members.
The Sheraton is offering a discounted room rate of $118 (plus tax) for convention attendees. Please note that the deadline to book a room at this rate is May 3, 2009.
