Looking for Members Interested in Read Across America Program

Sgt. Julian Castellanos, president of the LPOANJ’s NJ State Police Chapter, is seeking members interested in participating in Read Across America, a nationwide reading event that is celebrated annually on the birthday of children’s author Dr. Seuss.
Sponsored by the National Education Association, this year’s celebration will take place all across the United States on March 2, 2009. The program is designed to bring together kids and books and motivate children to read.
